AURELIEN PEILLEX

France

Aurélien Peillex is originally from France. He studied at Peridance Capezio Center and Steps On Broadway in New York as a full scholarship student.
Aurélien recently was a member of the Braunschweig Tanztheater company, in Germany, directed by Gregor Zöllig where he performed work by Reinhild Hoffman, Guilherme Botelho and Gregor Zoellig. He was a member of the Steps Repertory Ensemble under the direction of Bradley Shelver for three seasons. During his time in the company he has performed works by Elisa Monte, William Forsythe, Francesca Harper, Lar Lubovitch, Sidra Bell, Jae Man Joo, Mike Esperanza, Julia Erhstrand, Larry Keigwin, Benoît Swan Pouffer, Nathan Trice, and Bradley Shelver.
As a young teacher and choreographer, Aurélien has had the opportunity to set and present his work in New York, France and Sweden and to teach classes and workshops at Peridance Capezio Center and the Joffrey Ballet School in New York City, at Studio Heart Point in Paris, Studio Naim and The Maslool in Tel Aviv, Balettakademien in Stockholm and Dansforum in Göteborg, in Barcelona and Taiwan. He also had the chance to give company classes for Norrdans in Härnösand, the Steps Repertory Ensemble in New York City as well as for the University of Kansas Dance Department and FusionWork Dance Company in Rhode Island USA.
